Looking for that special place to hold your wedding reception, anniversary party, or banquet? The Mohican School Environmental Learning Center offers many opportunities to make your event special.

Location, Facilities, & Availability
Located on 288 acres bordering "Mohican Country" in southern Richland County (driving directions), the Mohican School Environmental Learning Center offers an attractive facility for your event. Nestled in the hillside of Blackhand sandstone, the spacious Groveport River Lodge is an excellent choice for hosting a large researsal dinner, wedding reception, of banquet. A large stone fireplace provides a lovely focal point for any event, and the high ceilings lend an open and air atmosphere The lodge can accommodate approximately 275 guests. Many of the buildings features are "environmentally friendly" from the pressed wood beams to the natural bark interior which lines the lodge walls.

Or choose the Hemlock Falls Field Trip Center for a more intimate atmoshphere. This beautiful cedar-sided building is ideal for small rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, or anniversary parties with a capacity of 65 guests. The building has a furnished kitchenette, great room, restrooms, lower level breakout room, a large front porch and three outdoor cooking areas. Both facilities are available most weekends throughout the year and during the week throughout the summer months.

This cozy lodge offers a peaceful setting to host your small rehearsal dinner or wedding reception and includes a kitchenette, great room, breakout room, and back porch. Six semi-private rooms with separate restroom facilities are also available for overnight use. This facility sleeps 16.	The Shelter House offers a spacious and scenic outdoor meeting place for a small wedding or outdoor reception.	The Dormitory complex has four separate dorms with a total capacity of 160 -- excellent overnight housing for your guests. Each radient floor heated dorm has hot and cold running water, private showers, self-composting toilets, and an indoor amphitheater.
